The body speaks clearly when something is not working. It shows it through tiredness, tension or lack of drive, yet the mind keeps pushing even when the body is asking for a break. This contradiction makes no sense because without the body the mind is nothing, but we still prioritise performance over what we actually feel. We force ourselves to meet demands that have no real meaning and then act surprised when discomfort appears.
If we push the body too far it will burn out and the mind will collapse because it cannot carry what we expect from it. Then come the complaints, the anxiety or the depression and everything becomes heavier. There is no need to reach that point. We must stop earlier, breathe, break the momentum and listen to ourselves. It is not a sign of weakness, it is simple common sense.
