Suffering begins when we resist what is. We want things to be different, for life to follow the plan our mind draws. But the universe doesn’t adjust itself to our expectations. Every attempt to control the uncontrollable creates conflict. Accepting is not surrendering, it is seeing clearly. It is recognising that the present, with everything it brings, is already as it should be.
Wisdom begins when we stop arguing with reality. When we understand that the present moment doesn’t need to be changed in order for us to have peace. Harmony isn’t found outside, it arises when we stop opposing what happens. In that stillness, a simple understanding appears: life is not against us, it only waits for us to learn to be with it.
