Since I can remember, I have heard time and time again that work is everything. However, no one talks enough about how the lack of resources can affect all areas of our lives. Health, love, family, friendships… everything is influenced by our financial situation. It’s not just about getting a job to have something to do, but about how the lack of money can disrupt everything else.
Work, then, becomes a crucial tool, not only to make a living but also to ensure that we can enjoy what really matters. Without resources, health is often affected by anxiety or lack of access to proper medical care, relationships suffer from stress or constant worry, and even mental peace is disrupted. We’ve been taught to value work as a goal in itself, but we forget that without the means to live, everything else becomes secondary.
