You hold a high position in a company, and your job is to fire people. How far do you go? Is your limit what the law allows, or do you still have some humanity left? You know most of those you fire don’t fully understand their rights and will settle for a minimal payout, even though they could receive much more. Yet, you choose to squeeze every last resource before letting them go.
What do you tell yourself at night to sleep peacefully? Do you convince yourself it’s just work? Will you raise your children with the same logic? If you believe the world is a survival game, at least be honest about it. But don’t deceive yourself into thinking you’re fair when you take advantage of others’ ignorance and desperation.
