Your Accent Is Not a Mistake

Do not let anyone limit or minimize what you say when you speak in another language. Many people focus on the pronunciation of a word and correct it without thinking about what is behind it. That different sound is not a failure, it is your accent, it is the mark of your native language. Constant corrections do not help, they create doubt and weaken confidence. Languages are not exact like mathematics. They are variable, they change depending on the place and the person. Even within the same country there are ways of speaking that others do not understand. This proves that there is no single valid way to pronounce.

A language is a tool, nothing more. It does not define you or measure your value. Its only function is to allow two people to understand each other. Knowing just a few words already expands your ability to communicate. You do not need perfection to communicate an idea. Your accent is not a problem, it is proof that you have crossed a limit that others have not crossed. No one has the right to make you feel less for using a tool that allows you to go further.
